1 Geometry, Calculus or an approved Advanced Math Substitute

1 Environmental Science, Physical Science, Biology II or Physics

1 World Geography

1 Civics

1 Fine Arts Survey (or substitute two units of performance courses in Music or Studio Art. OR substitute one unit of an elective from among the other subjects listed in this core curriculum)

1/2 Computer science OR substitute at least 1/2 credit of an elective from among the other subjects listed in this core curriculum

2 Foreign Language credits (Same language)

1 An additional unit of advanced math or advanced science from among the following: Algebra III, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Biology II, or Physics

·Must Have 2.5 GPA on 4.0 scale on above listed core courses (GPA cannot be rounded up.)

·ACT Composite determined by the prior year state average (currently 20, which is minimum for Opportunity Award)

·The TOPS Core Curriculum is required for admission to Louisiana Public Universities.
